A Lenten Poem From Pastor Andrea...

Lenten Alms jars are available in the Portico and in the Narthex.

Lent is a time of reflection

When we walk Jesus’ path of rejection

The journey is all the way to the cross

Where the human life of Jesus is loss

During this time, we give alms, pray, and fast

Ask for forgiveness for the things we have done present and past

A special congregational gift this season

Will help with repairs and for another reason

To say thank you to God above

For the gift of Jesus and God’s unconditional love.

Blessings of peace,  Pastor Andrea

This year’s almsgiving will be used to help fund the “Roof, Remediation and Re-design” Schafer Hall project.
