Education Ministry
The Education Ministry of St. Paul’s Church focuses on all aspects of Christian education through Sunday school, Bible studies, discussion groups for all ages, and unique opportunities for young adults to talk about faith issues.
Sunday School at St. Paul’s
St. Paul’s Sunday School goes by the name of the Rise and Shine Kids Club. Children ages 3-11 are welcome to join us in the Epiphany Chapel downstairs at 9:15 to learn stories about God's love, serve others, and have fun with friends! You can learn more about the Rise and Shine Kids Club, including our fall schedule and link to the registration form, at riseandshinekidsclub.substack.com.
If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact either Valerie Nadal (vaenadal@gmail.com) or Donna Hershey (donna.hershey@gmail.com).
Confirmation at St. Paul's
If your child is in the 7th or 8th grade and ready to begin the Confirmation journey, please let us know (contact Pastor Andrea- awalker@stpaulslutherandc.com or Minister Amy Moorhus – amymoorhus@gmail.com). Classes (Sundays at 9:15 am in the 2nd floor conference room) throughout the year will help our young people grow in faith, ask meaningful questions, and deepen their understanding of God’s love and the life of the church. We look forward to another meaningful year of learning, community, and faith formation together.
Adult Sunday School and Bible Study
Current Adult Sunday School Session: Gotta Have Faith: Finding God in a Pop Song
Join your fellow members of St. Paul's on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 in Schafer Hall for adult Sunday School. This fall we'll be listening to pop songs containing messages about faith by artists like U2, Aretha Franklin, and Bob Marley and discussing how they speak to us and move us. All are welcome!
Bible Study meets every Thursday at noon in Schafer Hall of the Education Building.
Contact the office for more information. We hope you'll join us!
